Updated 13 September 2026 · testing terms and proposed prize rules
1. Current status
Mine Time is currently in testing. Weekly and monthly rewards are a preview, not an open prize promotion or a promise of Prizes for current play. No purchase is needed to play. Testing scores, practice, archive play and reset attempts will not qualify for a future prize competition.
Before any prize competition opens, we will publish the promoter’s legal name, correspondence address and contact details, exact opening and closing dates, final eligibility and reward rules, and a way to raise questions or disputes. The game and prize arrangements require a legal classification review before activation. These terms do not constitute Gambling Commission approval.
2. Mark it, Mine it, Time it
Use the survey clues to mark Gold, Bitcoin and empty plots, then Mine to lock your daily answer. Each day has three mines. You may clear and correct marks before mining. All three mines must finish on their puzzle’s UTC day to enter the general rankings. Practice and past puzzles are unranked.
For daily puzzles before 14 September 2026, Gold and Bitcoin each offer up to 10,000 points; Gold + Bitcoin offers up to 20,000. Each mine’s base score is 7,000 plus a speed bonus of 3,000 through the first minute, falling by 5 per second after that to zero at 11 minutes. Every incorrect plot reduces the whole score by 25 percentage points, to a minimum of zero. Each requested hint reduces the hint multiplier by 15 percentage points, to a minimum of 25%. Double Mine doubles the resulting points. The server calculates and rounds scores.
From 14 September 2026, Gold and Bitcoin each retain a 10,000-point maximum and Gold + Bitcoin 20,000. The base 7,000 points plus a maximum 3,000 speed bonus are multiplied by accuracy and hint factors, then rounded down before the mixed mine’s double weighting. Full speed bonus lasts 60 seconds plus 2 seconds per required treasure mark, then falls by 5 points per second to zero. Extra player taps do not change this allowance. The accuracy multiplier is the greater of zero and 1 minus twice the number of incorrect answer plots divided by the number of answer plots (excluding survey clues). All-empty or all-treasure blanket answers score zero. A missed treasure, extra treasure mark or wrong treasure type each counts as one mistake. Hint reductions remain 15 percentage points per hint, to a minimum 25% multiplier. Gold and Bitcoin have equal treasure and answer-plot counts with independent layouts. Earlier puzzles and their saved scores retain the earlier formula.
The clock starts on entering a mine, continues through breaks and reloads, and stops when that mine is completed. Between-mine transition screens are untimed. There is no random score multiplier.
3. Rankings and proposed competition periods
Daily totals add all three mines. Weekly totals run Monday 00:00 to the following Monday 00:00 UTC, excluding that endpoint. Monthly totals run from the first day at 00:00 to the first day of the next month at 00:00 UTC, excluding that endpoint. Lifetime totals add all eligible daily runs. Each future prize period will have its exact dates published before it opens; PEA publication will not move a published deadline.
Rankings sort by highest score, then lowest combined elapsed time, fewest hints, fewest mistakes, earliest final completion and, if still identical, ascending account identifier. The last criterion is a stable display order, not a random draw. Final prize tie arrangements will be published before a prize period opens.
4. Proposed eligibility and fair play
The initial prize proposal is for residents of England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 or over, using their own Telegram account. This is a proposed eligibility policy, not a statement that all free competitions legally require this age limit. Northern Ireland and other countries are not included in this proposed prize launch.
One participant, one account, one ranked run per day. No paid entry, required Stars purchase, investment, crypto holding, paid membership, paid hints, paid boosts or paid extra attempts will be required or offered for prize entry. Existing Telegram Premium membership confers no scoring advantage.
Automated solving, multiple accounts, shared answers used to gain an advantage, exploiting resets or vulnerabilities, and falsified results are prohibited. Suspected results may be reviewed using objective gameplay records. Reasons and a review route must be provided for prize disqualifications. Staff directly administering the competition and their households will be excluded from Prizes.
5. Proposed rewards and fulfilment
The proposed schedule appears below. A qualifying player may win both a weekly and a monthly award. No daily, lifetime, Lucky Miner or random-draw prize is offered in this proposal. Game points and collection items are not money and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged.
Before opening, the organiser must confirm funding and Telegram gift availability, including delivery to existing Premium subscribers, and publish any equivalent reward policy. Final verified winners will be contacted through the official Mine Time bot. Winners will never be asked for payment, wallet keys, passwords or Telegram login codes to claim. Proposed delivery is within 30 days of each period closing, following verification. No automated gift delivery is currently active.
6. Accounts, results and privacy
The game uses your verified Telegram account identifier and display name to save progress and display leaderboard results. It records marks, timing, hints, mistakes and scores. Your display name and score can be visible to other players. Do not put sensitive information in your display name. When you choose Share Score, a public scorecard is created containing your display name, scores, time and/or ranking snapshot. Anyone with its link can view or save it, and Telegram or X may cache a preview. It does not contain your Telegram account identifier or puzzle answers. Shared snapshots do not automatically update when rankings change.
Before prize entry opens, a full privacy notice will identify the controller, contact route, retention periods and rights process. Any proposed winner-publicity details and an objection process will be disclosed before entry. No address is needed for the proposed digital rewards.
7. Service and your rights
During testing, faults or resets may affect results. Future prize rules must explain fair handling of outages and disputes; the organiser will not reserve an unrestricted right to withhold advertised Prizes or change closing dates. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mine Time is a Golden Bitcoin community game and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Telegram.
